This experience is a daytrip in which we will visit some interesting places in Hungary that are related to religious sustainable community called Nava Vraja Dhama and see their way of life in a quiet countryside not far from lake Balaton. On their property we will have a tour of the temple and other buildings used in their everyday life and see how they managed to become so sufficient.
Next we will visit the largest Buddhist peace stupa in Europe, near the village of Zalaszanto. The stupa is 30 meters high, located on a small hill in a serene environement, and it was consecrated by Dalai Lama. The stupa itself contains the teachings and relics of Buddha. It is a great place from where to send out the prayer of peace, and in the meditation house next to it we can spend some minutes trying to reach silence inside ourselves (optional).
Our last stop on this trip will be Keszthely town on the lake Balaton. It hosts a beautiful palace of Festetic family, a unique baroque beauty with a garden.
